Privacy policy
What we do with your data, and what we do not do.
Who handles your data
The data controller is Dimora Rhea, Piazza Alfano I, 3, 84121 Salerno (SA), Italian tax code DMTMRC84E26H703F. You can write to info@dimorarhea.com, call, or send a WhatsApp message to +39 328 679 1382. The property’s national identification code (CIN) is IT065116C1EKLD9CVJ.
We have not appointed a data protection officer: we do not fall into the cases where the regulation requires one. For any question we answer at the same contacts.
Visiting the site
Reading these pages asks nothing of you. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no members’ area: nowhere on the site is there a field to type your details into.
What remains are the server logs, collecting IP address, date and time, page and browser type. We process them under legitimate interest — keeping the site running and defending it — and they are kept for the technical period our hosting provider allows.
Booking a room
The booking does not pass through us: the calendar on the Book page is Amenitiz’s system, and whatever you type there — name, contacts, dates, payment — is collected and stored by Amenitiz on their own servers, under their own policy.
We see that data as the property that will host you, and use it to perform the contract: get your room ready, recognise you on arrival, issue the receipt. The legal basis is performance of the contract, and for invoicing, a legal obligation.
If instead you email or call us, that data is used to reply to you and is kept for as long as that takes.
What we are required to report
Anyone hosting guests in Italy must report each guest’s details to the police within twenty-four hours of arrival. That is why we ask for an identity document at check-in: it is not our curiosity, it is a public-security obligation we cannot avoid.
We also send the occupancy statistics required by regional tourism rules. Those are numbers, not names.
Who else sees your data
Amenitiz, which provides the booking engine. Vercel, which hosts this site. Our accountant, for tax obligations. The authorities, in the mandatory cases described above.
We do not sell your data, do not pass it on for advertising, and do not use it to profile you. We take no automated decisions about you.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy, have it corrected if wrong, ask for erasure or restriction, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and receive in a readable format the data you gave us.
Write to info@dimorarhea.com: we answer within a month. If the answer does not satisfy you, you can turn to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the competent authority in Italy.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect their data. Children who stay with us are reported to the authorities along with the other guests, as the law requires, under the responsibility of the adults accompanying them.
If this page changes
When something changes in how we handle data, this page changes and so does the date below. We send no notifications, because we have no address to send them to.
